Minden, 8 May 2025 – The Altendorf Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of premium woodworking machinery, is repositioning its leadership team. With a newly structured management team, the company is placing even greater strategic emphasis on the needs of its customers and partners worldwide. The goal is to establish sustainable structures that enable more targeted market development, improved service quality, and innovation-driven product development.

 

A leadership team committed to customer orientation and future readiness

The new management team consists of Matthias Picker (CEO), Ingo Körner (CFO), and Vit Kafka (CSO). Matthias Picker brings international experience from the woodworking and machine tool industries and stands for customer-oriented leadership and technological advancement. Ingo Körner contributes extensive expertise in strategic corporate management and process optimization. Vit Kafka has been with the company for over 30 years and, with his international sales experience, plays a key role in maintaining close ties to the market and customers.

Strategically aligned for the future

With the new leadership team, the Altendorf Group is aligning itself even more clearly with future topics and customer proximity. The company is focusing on the targeted expansion of strategically relevant markets, sustainable and values-based corporate development, and the advancement of digital and networked technologies. Strengthening international customer and partner relationships also plays a key role – enabling closer collaboration, stronger dialogue, and joint development. The new management team is looking forward to meeting partners, customers, and other stakeholders in person at LIGNA 2025, to continue shaping the company’s strategic direction together.
